I am a full time student and I work 22 hours a week at the same job for almost 3 years. My husband (yes we are legally married) is self employed without an actual business license. I have seen on different websites for mortgages they may ask for a business license (not even sure how we would go about getting him one). He is a personal/atheltic trainer. He started doing in home training and training friends in a gym and did well enough that it has worked out to be his only job. Although is trying to find a full time 9-5 career. This winter is 2 years on to his self employment. Does being a full time student work against me or for me? I know it is more difficult to get a mortgage loan while being self employed but I do not know anyone else that has ever tried. Any pointers please?
