impossible to say
The math is pretty tough on this one, but we've never observed a wormhole
Most wormhole ends exists as Black holes, and it's pretty tough to survive close to the singularity because of the differences in gravity, called tidal effects. When one approaches a black hole, they tend to be torn apart, "spagetified" if you want the technical term.
It's difficult to say what a "spirit" is exactly, I wouldn't think it easy for one to exist independent of the physical.
It's not inconceivable that it might though as a roaming chain of thought. This is where the definition of spirit breaks down and leaves us wondering what the other is talking about.
I wouldnt think it would take black/wormholes, but instead it would be a more mundane(probably sonic) form of communication. I've done a lot of thinking along this line of thought, and science has been discouraged from answering these questions. Publicly anyways.
