I'm trying to replace my laptop which died on me after a few faithful and reliable years with an iPad 2 and the only problem I have is that I can't rip a cd onto it to continue building my iTunes, which kinda takes from the idea of freedom from a laptop if I still need a computer to do things on it. So I've been trying to figure out if I could use a networking external hard drive to store the entire library so I could access it through the wifi once connected to the wireless router. This much I'm positive works from my researching it. Then the part I'm unsure of is if I connect an external cd drive to either the external hard drive or the wireless router would it work for me that way? Or if you have a way to put on a cd onto an iPad 2 without the use of a laptop or re-buying it on iTunes that would be fantastic as well.
Could a cd drive work with an iPad 2?
