my 3yr old keeps coughing, i given him cough meds, and nothing seems to help... but he starts coughing so hard he cant sleep and he vomits from it too?
cough meds are the worst thing you can be giving a 3 year old as they can cause more harm than good.
has your child been checked for asthma?
because your child is vomitting from the cough seems to me that he has a productive cough. the fact that it is keeping him awake is another concern.
is your child wheezing? does your child have a cold along with the cough?
please get your child checked and stop those cough meds.
