Costochondritis?

OMG, I am dying with this pain! How much Motrin do you take? The label says no more than 2 tablets of 200mg at a time. This is not helping at all. Any other suggestions on how to make me feel better. I work and don't have time to do the heating pads all day. This sucks!

Was this diagnosed from your doctor? If so, didn't he give you something for it? An antiimflamatory and something for the pain?

I have to agree...did you see a doctor? If you are in that much pain then they would have given you something.

The only advice I can give you is to keep with the Motrin and the heating pad. Try not to lift anything as that will aggravate it. Also, for me away, quick movements always seem to make it worse,

My doc didn't give me a thing either! I had pains that shot up to my neck if I bent over, and also that got worse if I breathed in deep. I would call the doc back and ask for him or her to prescribe you an anti-inflammatory pain med. Laying in a tub helps, damp heat, dry heat does not work as well.
