My next oil change I will be do for major maintenance for my Honda Civic. I have been going to the dealership for oil changes and maintenance since buying the car in 2004. I don't have any local car mechanic I trust, and I haven't had any problems with my car or the dealership.
But I'm almost up to the 39,000 mi. Maintenance "F" or "G" or something like that and they said it would be close to $500 including tax. Is there any way I can haggle them down in cost? or is it time to find somewhere else to go? Are chain places like Meineke good/trustworthy?
