costco online, trying to buy ps3

Haha. Mine finally failed at 8:20. I got the usual "Page cannot be displayed blah blah blah" error. I'm pretty sure you order won't go through.
 
i was checking continously since they open at 8;30 and they said it was gonna go online..

so right in the second it turns to 8:30 it turned from no ps3 listed to sold out..

obviously it was to keep people away from camping... my brother got one at costco in the morning with no lines..
 
It's all dumb luck beyond this point. All the B&M stores have exhausted their inventories, save a random surprise shipment here and there.

And all the Internet sites will be at the mercy of ordering bots and/or people on the inside who know exactly when inventory will be released and tell their friends when to log on.

Beyond last night the only way you will get a PS 3 is through dumb luck, a highly overpriced bundle, a mixture of the two, or via Ebay or Amazon scalpers.
 
Yea for the most part that's true. But I'm at home, waiting to go to my math class at 11:30. So it doesn't hurt to try and get a ps3, even though like you said, it's all through dumb luck.
 
yea they told me not to make a line cuz they were only available online..

so i thought it was a trick so i told my brother to go exactly when they open.. and he did go and he did get one with no 3 people in line

I refreshed online and from one second of not being there to the other it was gone.. obviously it was a fake to avoid the rush..
