I just got a 1917 enfield 30-06 second hand and the owner says he hasnt fired it for 5 years. How do i make sure this thing wont blow up in my face. Does it cost anything to get it inspected.
I took the canadian PAL course and passed. I only know what was covered in the book. I was told to take a cloth and run it through the barrel. If it comes out rusty get it cleaned or clean it. THis is my first rifle with no instructions. SO please spare me your elitest attitude and just answer the question. Thats like saying you shouldnt have a car if you arent a mechanic. I know all the safety precautions i just dont know all the specific parts like rings, and how to drill scope mounts.
yes the mrmossberg the best part is i got it for free. Unfortunately its been sporterize
