Okay, I realize that the price of installing ceramic tile will vary between contractors; I'm just looking for a ballpark figure here. We want to install ceramic tile in the kitchen and dining room; the area is approximately 250 square feet. We plan to peel up the old vinyl floor and remove the baseboards (and put them back on once the tile is done) ourselves. The tile will be installed over a concrete slab. We live in California.
So...around how much should such a job cost (just ballpark)?
ETA: luckily, we don't have to worry about asbestos in our vinyl because our house was built in 1987.
