Someone left a fairly large dent in my passenger side fender next to the tire. Now I cannot open the passenger side door
The guy who did this did not leave a note, nor were there any cameras where i was parked
I reported this to my insurance company and they will have me go to a body shop for this.
Even though i have insurance, my deductible is $500
Assuming they cannot remove the dent via mechanical means and have to replace the front passenger side fender, what am I looking at (Parts+labor) ? I am looking to see if it is cheaper to not involve the insurance company
I live in SE Pennsylvania. I am not hands-on to do this myself and would rather have this done by a body shop
Also, how long would this job normally take ?
