What would you rather have to ride to/from wedding ceremony and reception?

ZHZ corvette: http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/06/09/hertz-adds-436-hp-chevrolet-corvette-zhz/

Hummer H3 http://www.knfilters.com/images/press/hummer1.jpg

or a limo.

I wanted a vintage car, but cannot find one anywhere to rent.

I am not a fan of limos and wanted to do something different.

I can rent the Corvette for $600 for 3 days,
the Hummer for $350 for 3 days or
pay $500 for a limo for about 6 hours.

what do you think? The corvette is fun, but could be kinda small to smoosh my dress into. Hummers are kinda normal where we live.

Help, I am stuck
I thought my fiance would have fun racing around in the corvette and we could just drive off to our beach get-a-way after the reception. With a limo we would have to be dropped off and then get into his car and drive.

Our colors originally started out as yellow and black, but morphed into antique gold and ivory( more classy) , The bicycling club we met riding in wears black and gold racing jerseys, my finace is a UCF grad ( b/g colors), loves the Steelers ( b/g colors) my sorority's colors were b/g. We are going to the Tour de France for the honeymoon ( winner wears a yellow jersey) and we are including yellow livestrong bracelets with our favors since we ride the Livestrong ride each year in Auctin. So the corvette's colors tie in.

It is small, though.
Anna, Hummers are trashy? I did not know a $75,000 vehicle was trashy. News to me.

I like the Corvette, the Hummer is about as romatic as a tank. Check executive auto rentals or vintage car sales for a classic

I've never thought of a sports car...esp. a corvette...so that's a pretty cool idea.

As for vintage rental cars...it depends on the location, but I found vintagerentacar.com (in Victoria, BC), limores.net, www.101classiccarrental.com (I don't know where the last two are located). Otherwise, you can try google or yahoo searches for "vintage rental cars" and you get a TON of websites. To narrow it down, you can do a local search (which can get you everything within 50 miles of where you live.

how did the ring sizing turn out?

well, i would not waste money on a car rental. Why don't you drive away in your own car? this is like taking 600 dollars and tossing it into a trashcan.

i really love the idea of a vintage car
i would put an ad in your local newspaper for tomorrows paper asking if anyone would like to rent their vintage rolls royce or ford gt

good luck, but if i had to pick from the above: i would stick with a sleek black limo (thinking of your dress!)

How about getting a stretch SUV? That is different and still 'formal'. Or go with the Hummer. Whatever you want. If you go with the hummer it will be unique. It's up to you and him... just go with what will be the most fun for you to ride in and what you'll feel best with.
