Cortisone Shots yesterday and feeling awful

I had two cortisone shots in my back yesterday for the first time. I am really feeling awful. It has given me nausea that wont go away, my back is spasming more than usual and the pain is still there. Is this normal? Please share your experiences with the cortisone shots.
 
My last cortisone shot was 2 week ago and i still feel sick, i had 3 nights of no sleep straight after a bad stomach upset the same night and my face was flushed for two days, all i can say is never again ive had a few but thats the last one.
 
You may have lost a drop of spinal fluid with the shot. That would account for the headache and nausea.

I have never had that happen and I have caudal injections-where they go through the bottom of your tailbone, straight into your spine.

It should get better as your body slowly replaces that drop of fluid it lost...good luck!
