Cortisone Shot on big pimple

hey I got a Cortisone shot for a cyst pimple on the side of my nose today and it hurt like heck .The pimple has been there over 7 months and it would get smaller then come back big and popping it made it really bad. so the doc gave me a cortisone shot.how long does it take for the pimple to go away after the cortisone shot?thanks
 
2 or 3 days it should diminish -
hurts but way worth it, you'll see
you may have to get a second one if that old and big, and depending on if the dr injected directly in it or just on the outside.
 
I want to give this thread a bump. I have a similar problem.

I received TWO shots already (over a two month period).

The pimple is still there. To make matters worse, I have three new ones.

These pimples are deep and not poppable. I believe they are cystic.

Any ideas?
