Cortisol Levels - any clue what this means

I had a 24-hour saliva cortisol test -- the results were:
8am -- ok
12(noon) -- high
4 pm -- ok
8 pm -- ok
12 (midnight) -- high
4 am -- high

What does this mean??
 
Do you work nights? Have insomnia or sleep apnea? Cortisol should be highest in the morning, and lowest around bedtime, but that can flip if you work the nightshift or have trouble sleeping.
 
I have a problem sleeping -- bone spurs in all of the Thoracic Spine (right side - T1 -T12) and buldging/protruding discs at T5-6, T7-8, T8-9 and now I have protruding disc at C6-7. So sleeping is hard for me -- it was strange when I took this test -- I had to wake up to take the test, I was sleeping prior. Weird part it wlso high at noon.
