hi i have a 51 plate 1.2 16v corsa club. a few days ago now my car started juddering when pulling off and not being responsive when i accelerate then suddenly will shoot off. my emmisons light was already on before this, it is because the cat is nearing the end of its life but when i pull off and the car judders and isnt responsive on the accelerator the emissions light will start flashing and then stop after a few seconds. i have the following error codes:

P0300 Misfire Unidentified Cylinder Detected B-21
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected B-22
P1613 Immobiliser No Or Wrong Signal Immobiliser C-05
P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Above Threshold C-31

when i first turn the engine on and start driving there wont be a problem it will start after a few minutes. does anyone have an idea what my problem could be? thanks in advance!

right good chance you need a coilpack its a cassette pack so you dont need ht leads but check your plugs first
immobiliser i wouldnt worry about its either from flat ot bad battery connection but it may be from bad connection at the instrument panel just push against the speedo unit for now until it starts cutting out or not starting il talk you through that one when the time comes
with the cat fault code it could also be the maf sensor i take it some one has already un bolted the front pipe and had a look at the honycomb inside normally when they go on this car it will break up

P0300 Misfire detected - probable cause spark plugs, HT leads, injectors, ignition coils, low compression, wiring

P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire detected - Probable cause, engine mechanical fault, wiring, ignition/fuel system, injector, ECT/MAF sensor, ECM

P1613 Immobilizer control module, incorrect/no signal - probable cause immobilizer control module

P0420 - Catalytic converter system, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold - probable cause catalytic converter, wiring, HO2S2

Okay first of all, you need to take it into a garage, the garage can fix these problems for you. I have outlined what the possible causes are for each and every one of your error codes you have presented. The poor starting from cold could be poor connection in engine coolant temperature sensor harness multi-plug due to vibration. Poor throttle response could be due to intake air leak, secondary air injection fuel system, fuel pressure/pump, injectors, evaporative emission canister purge valve, heated oxygen sensor.

As you can see there are a lot of problems. Vauxhall/Opel are aware of some problems with their cars and these are from the manufacturer stating the possible causes. Take it into a garage, they will sort it out for you and go through each item that needs checking. Best thing really.

Most likely a fault with the HT circuit to No 1 cylinder: try a new plug & HT lead, or swap with another cylinder to see if the fault moves.

You could spend a lot of time and money trying to locate a fault like this that a dealer will find in 5 minutes. Ask for an investigation. You can then replace the faulty part(s) yourself if practicable, or get the dealer to do it.

Mine did the same and i thought it needed servicing as that is what the mechanics said but in the end it was the battery believe it or not. Its annoying isnt it hope you get it fixed do it now before it turns out more expensive for you
