Correct way for Panasonic Plasma Viera Cast/Pandora to play over stereo?

Today's tv have only an optical audio output which has to be connected to a an optical input of a receiver. If your stereo receiver has an optical input then it should work. Hope this will help you out.
 
I cannot seem to figure out how to get Pandora or anything via Viera Cast to play over my stereo speakers. I can get the TV to work fine but don't know the right hook up. Digital out from TV to stereo or some other thing? Thanks ahead of time!
I have a Panasonic TC-P50G20 50" Plasama btw.
