What is the PROPER way of a judge delivering a final verdict?

EX:
Party A (plaintiff) v. Party B (defendant/victor)
"The Court finds that the defendant is _________.... "

I know you wouldn't put in overruled, pr abstained, or guilty.. what would a real court procedure say?
