Correct sleeping posture?

I have done some research on correct sleeping postures and I have hit a problem. I am trying to correct my posture in many aspects of my life, so I thought about how I sleep. I know many people say to sleep on your back with your head at level, but whenever I am sleeping on my back where my head is looking at the ceiling, I start to have this throbbing of a headache after awhile.

I am use to sleeping on my stomach, and I have heard that is horrible on your back. How do I get use to sleeping on my back in the correct form? Is the headache a sign that something is wrong?

I also want to mention that it feels like I don't know how to stretch my neck out, like my head is always tucking into my body. This of course affects my sleeping posture. I am obese, and am currently working with a clean vegan diet and exercise, and so when I lose weight do you think it will be easier on my posture?
