Cordless Panasonic Phones?

During a recent storm, my cordless panasonic phones got struck by Lightning, causing them not to work. I had one base with 2 additional simple handsets and one more base station. I bought a new panasonic phone set to replace the ones I had in my house. Is there a way to use the old handsets to link with my new base station or am i pretty screwed? If you need more info about the phones, please email me nick at [email protected]

Of course not. That would be way too easy :-)

Panasonic changes model numbers with the technology and just to keep us on our toes. Your new base will not talk to the old handsets, but you may be able to find a comparable base for your old handsets. Post the model number of the old base, if you still have it, and/or the handsets and we may be able to locate one. Or, try Panasonic's manual site http://service.us.panasonic.com/operman/ it will list what handset is compatible with what base.

the base should have been the only thing damaged by the lightning strike...

if it is the same model number, or compatible unit, then you should be able to sync several of the handsets from the old phone to the base of the new phone (up to the maximum amount of handsets that the base will register with)
