YOU WONT LOOSE ANY TAGS (album art, artist, title, etc.) IF YOU COPY + PASTE IT as long as the file is properly labeled. What you see on the computer when you played it will be the same when you store it via USB and when you use it on another.

I prefer NOT to sync them, just select them all and copy them. IT will be hassle for you if you sync your flash drive because if you delete a song in your pc, it will be deleted on your iPod -- I MEAN FLASHDRIVE. That's the main reason why I prefer to use DISK STORAGE on an iPod and not syncing them on iTunes.

I recently bought a USB Flash Drive to backup my wma music files. I copied and pasted them to the drive from the 'My Music' folder in Windows Explorer. Then later I realized I could have 'Synched' them to the device within Windows Media Player. Is there a preferred method of getting files to this flash drive? i.e. will I lose any information from just copying and pasting, such as album art, etc. or should I have synched them within Windows Media Player?
