just attempted to cook thin sliced steak on the frying pan with terryaki sauce.. I added the sauce some water an the steak.. left it on about 15 minutes each side.. still pale-ish color i even tried cooking it again an now it just smells of a strong meat odor.. is this safe to eat? and why does it smell so strong ! i usually cook a big chunk of steak for 30 minutes and its good to go but these thin slices were not turning a dark brown,just a light pale brown
