cooking help? titanium dioxide?

Hi, im going to cook a cake, and i say you need an ingredient called "titanium dioxide" which i dont know what it is, but i dont think i will be able to buy it at a super market, so im just wondering if there is something i can use instead of that, for it to do the same thing?
