So for lunch today I want to eat fish. I took the frozen fish out and realized I needed to thaw it. It said to put it in cold water, so i did that plastic and all. It was taking a long time so i looked at the bag the frozen fish was in and it said to take it out of the bag before thawing. It did not say to do that on the box, but whatever, i take it out of the plastic wrap. I change the water and put in more cold water and its still taking forever so i make the water warmer. So i google "how do you know when a fish is thawed?" and i found a website that said to not put it in warm water because there may be bacteria on the fish. It also said to put it in a zip lock bag. So i failed at both of those things so the fish couldn't have been in the warm water for more than ten minutes and it was thawed so i put it in the oven to bake. Do you think i will get food poisoning?

thanks a lot! sorry if this was hard to read i'm trying to hurry because i need to go check on the fish.
