cooking at home need ideas ?

every saturday me and my sister do cooking
we have done this for the last two years bear in mind im 15 and shes 8
any way we are always making cakes and biccys gingerbread men so on, has any one got anyideas on what to make??
also can you make icing sugarat home from scratch ?x

i have tried making pizza's and bread
could some one ive me tips on pizza's please , last time i tried to make one i made a sort of cookie dough it did not taste verry nice lol x
 
If by icing sugar you mean icing like you buy in a can, then sure you can make it at home. Just take a few cups of powdered sugar and mix in milk and melted butter, a tiny bit at a time. Add and mix until it reaches the thickness you want.

As for cooking ideas--try making macaroni and cheese from scratch. It's not healthy but neither is cake, I guess. Just boil macaroni, drain it, then add Velveta cubes and milk. You can even add chopped-up hot dogs. My husband makes this for me all the time. :) It's a lot better than store-bought macaroni and cheese.
