Ok so heres my deal...I love cooking steak for my family but im wondering....I use nice round steak or beef filets nothing fancy but decent....But my question is Heat the stove pipping hot with A.) Butter or B.) Olive oil..Im was brought up using virgin olive oil but butter seems to get a nice carmel brown...What do you like better...And which smokes less? After seared i throw it in the oven at 475 for about 6 minutes or 8...Thnx
