K kimba New member Dec 12, 2009 #1 When I cook a pot roast with potatoes, cabbage and carrots, I put it in my crock pot and cook for about 6-7 hours on low. The meat is very tender and falls apart, but yet when eating it, there is a dry chewey feeling to it. What am I doing wrong?
