Cook County Treasurer sent me 2 notification already saying that i'm qualify for prooperty tax refund. I bought my house in 2009 (foreclosure) and the refund is for 2006 paid in 2007.But to get my refund I need to send copy of check used to pay the taxes for that tax year or letter from morgage company. The refund is over $1700. What I should do?
