I know it depends on the person, but please do the best to explain the best one for me:

a. I want an exciting job-the reason why I'd join the military is to do physical stuff instead of sitting in a cubical all day
b. I DO NOT want to join the Air Force
c. I want to serve my country in the best way I can

I will probably join after I graduate college if that matters as well.

Enlist in the Guard as a 13F while in college and then get out and be an officer and hope for a combat arms branch.

personally i dont like being around or on ships so im not doing navy. i didnt do air force because they seemed lazy. i considered joining the Marines but didnt because i dont want everyone to think im a hardass. i joined the Army because they let me pick my job as long as i was qualified for it. it was also a happy medium for me. but with all that being said, i have a great deal of respect for every branch of the military. if it wasnt for the military, i couldnt be typing this or have any other freedom

I am retired Navy and you sound like a Marine to me. The Navy and Air Force are more about brains than physicality with the exception of the Seals and you cannot know if you will get even a shot at that Seals until you are already long committed to your enlistment. You do not sign up for the Seals you apply after you are in.

im in the AF and TOTALLY understand the wanting physical activity part, TOTALLY!!! anyways....army or marines would DEF be badass and ud really get to deploy and serve your country.

but...the job u choose, choose it with care and talk to someone who has it ok? my sis is a marine but shes a linguist? shes learning russian in caly for like 2 years. 2 YEARS or less of school if ur alinguist, i dont think thats your bag is it? army or marines, im sure if u choose a good job u will be more than fulfilled, i LOVE the AF but im not fulfilled. i completely understand

The Army has the most jobs to choose from.

Doing "physcial stuff" is fun, but the experience doesn't always transfer well into civilian employment.

The AF has the best quality of life, but they don't have too much in the way of "physical stuff" jobs.

If you're in college, or going to college have you considered ROTC? You could get a great scholarship, a couple hundred bucks a month for pocket money, and learn to become an officer. I was enlisted in the army, and always thought "why didn't I do the Officer thing...? Give it a look.

Marines. They will defiantly make u work harder then u could ever dream. they are the first to fight. they pay for college (as do others) but marines is the best choice. (of coarse you could really challenge yourslef and do marine recon or MARSOC) semper fi.
