Convict fish had babies?

My convicts just had babies... quite a few as a matter of fact... and i was wondering what was the likelihood that any of them would survive to live to be "grown" fish. They are in a 55 gal tank with oscars & a large african cichilid

thus far the parents have closely protect the babies.

while the babies are young they can be protected but as they grow (and wonder away) they will fall prey to the other fish in your tank. You can either divide the tank (dividers are available at pet stores) are move them to a seperate tank.

they will likely be eaten by the other fish. it would be easier to just move the oscar and the african out of the tank. if possible then move the fry.

zero.

with other fish in the tank... your best moving the fry to a seperate rearing tank for the best chance at raising the fry.

If you want any to survive I would separate them from the Oscars and Cichlids as soon as possible because they will get eaten, no doubt about it.
