converting from a 2 bbl to a 4 bbl intake on a Pontiac 455?

i have a pontiac 455 that had a 2 bbl intake but im converting it to a 4 bbl intake but it want bolt down because it has the pvc plug underneath it so can any one give me some helpful ideals about how to fix this
i ordered the intake from advanced auto parts its a weiand intake

John is correct. Pontiac 455's didn't come with a 2bbl intake. By your description of the PCV valve, it sounds like you have a 350 or 400. If this is the case that explains why your intake wont fit. Run the numbers on the motor block to be sure what you have. Otherwise you can put the PCV valve in the valve cover on the drivers side.
 
John is mistaken. 455 2-barrel engines were standard equipment in a variety of full-size pontiacs.

Now - A 455 is supposed to have a PVC valve (not a plug) underneath the intake. It should be right in front of the carb, on the driver's side. Right? Is that not okay?

What kind of intake are you using? Where'd you get it?
