Convert me from torrents?

Tried Usenet a while back, but for one reason or another I've always stuck with torrents. But lately I've been hearing great things about Newzbin so I'm asking if there's anyone out there with an invite they wanna give away I would really appreciate it :D

The University I'm going to monitors how much you upload as a means of cracking down on filesharing, because of this I think Usenet would be a much better option over torrents, seeing has how you only leech.

Also if there's something other than Newzbin I should look at, please let me know

For hosting I have comcast at home, but when I go away I'm thinking about getting an account here

I'm not trying to abuse anything, just looking for a different means of getting files.
