Oh, I've heard of DragonCon and it would be really cool to go there, especially since I sci-fi, but it's kinda of far from me. out:

My next convention might be MangaNext in October, which is the same city that held AnimeNext. It's mainly focused on manga, of course.

Melissa the Newtype USA site shows events that have passed or are coming up.

Yeah, I went to the Artist's Alley in both AimeNext and MangaNext.

Stefy, DragonCon is held in Atlanta. It's the world's larges sci-fi/fantasy convention. There's anime but its not as big as other conventions. There are cosplayers though.
