I have to do a 30 minute presentation on a controversial animal debate topic. Can anyone think of any ideas for me? I want to do something original and so I would prefer not to do animal testing or something like that which has been done a million times over. Thanks for any help.

Something that is current and has been drawing a great deal of attention from both sides of the table is the wolf debate.
They have been taken off the endangered species list in some areas, so much so that they are opening a hunting season in some areas.
Of course one side wants to hunt them and wants the numbers under control but the other side says there is no need to hunt them and they are of no threat.

this may be hard to research but how about this . how smart does a lifeform on our planet have to be before we wont eat it. we generally dont go after dolphins. but pigs are smart too.
if you dont like that factory farming is hot now . do we need to treat animals humanely if we are going to slaughter them. or how about eliminating steroids an other chemicals in the feed of animals
or crazy you can say that dogs are better than cats. or pets should be mandatory for all old people or prisoners.
