Continuous Headache and Arm pain??????

So, I've had a pretty bad headache about 20 days this month. Nothing seems to relieve the pain. It hurts to see any light, plus any little noise about kills me. For the past couple weeks I've been having muscle spasams in my stomach. Nowhere else. I 'had a tubal 3 years ago, and I am still having my period like normal. This past week, it feels like I have razorblades flowing through my veins. But, just on my left side. Mostly my arm and occasionally my leg. I have a lump about the size of a dime in my forearm. It's not hard or hot. IT's really squishy and I can roll it around with my fingers. It doesn't hurt, just annoying. I get dizzy everytime I stand up. And my vision is all black and blurry when I stand , at least once a day.

About 6 months ago, My husband took me to the doctor, due to some of these symptoms, they hospitalized me . I spent 5 days in the hospital with no results. Now, the symptoms are back with more pains added on. My dr. doesn't know what is going on but, also hasn't done any tests either. Does anyone know of anything that could cause these symptoms? I'm getting really sick of being in pain. I have 6 kids and I would really love to be able to play with them again without getting dizzy or falling down. Any help is appreciated.

Have you had any neck injuries that you recall? how old are you? could it be degentertive disc disease? Sounds like a cervical spine kind of problem thats why I am questioning you...Let me know??? G

I guess I failed to mention that in Feb. when I was sick, I had a MRI and CT scan done that were normal. Answering the questions: I am a 27 year old mother of 6. I've never had a neck or back injury. The only spine related family history I have is , My mom has herniated disks in her back. Not sure of the cause. My Grandmother has a curved spine which has caused her pain and then injuries. That's all that I know of. Thanks for the input.

Your symptoms sound similar to what I had two years ago. Have you had your corisol level checked, For some reason my body began craving more salt. Try drinking twice as much water and increase your salt intake and see it this helps relieve your symptoms. I of course was also told that stress can also be the cause of the problem. With six kids at home at such a young age--I know that you have some stress!!

I would certainly pursue this issue with your doctor and insist on having some further testing. Possibly involving being referred to a endocrinologist or a neurologist. The suggestion of lyme disease is also a good thought. To get a accurate diagnosis for lyme disease you should research a rhumatologist(sp) who specializes in lyme disease because this disease is very hard to diagnose and is often missed.

Keep us informed on your status.
