This problem has only really kicked in over the past 2 months or so and for no apparent reason. I don't have a temp, (low if anything), nor is there any kind of rash or obvious reason for it. However, I am 50, apparently postmenopausal tho I never had any symptoms of it, and have a raft of autoimmune conditions (lupus, Sjogren's, hypothyroidism) along with fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome. I've not had any new meds and currently on a stable dose of thyroxine. So I'm really flummoxed as to what could possibly be causing this, and while it's certainly not a concern per se, I'd truly like to figure out some way of stopping it.
It used to be that the only time this would happen was if I'd a headache, and I could pretty much predict when I'd have a headache by the fact that my forehead would be burning up, but now it's permanently like that without any hint of a headache.
I've literally no other symptoms of anything I could even throw into the mix at the minute, so figured it was perhaps time to put it out to the wider world, and see if anyone else has had experience of this. Is it likely to be a hormonal issue perhaps and if so, since my GP won't put me on HRT as I'm not having flushes, is there anything supplement wise that would maybe help??
