Constantine's Edict of 321 AD: what was it?

Thank you for your answers. I have learned recently that this was an early emperor who forced his subjects to denounce the "vain faith" of the Jewish "superstition". I wanted confirmation on all that it entailed. Christians were "separated" from The Way at that point. To be a Christian may have saved you from being eaten by a Romain's Lion - not how history wants us to remember it! My NEXT questions: When was Acts written? Was not Antioch under Roman rule? If they were first called christians in Antioch: maybe we shouldn't be so excited about that!
EDIT: First of all, I didn't put "Romain's" in my additional details - Spell checker did. I meant Roman plural with an s . Most importantly- my first responder- you had a quick perfect answer. All you others with more detail and references - thank you. Don't get upset too much about your "thumbs down" rating. This isn't a cool topic to discuss. This might make a few people upset about what they think they believe about their religion. I've had to come to a few miconceptions - I just want to share some of them...
