Life is short so do what makes you happy with the look of your bike. And why would anyone want a fun paint job on another bike just for the paint job? I don't get putting it on a Hayabusa or GSX-R...you'd have to ride those then.
I like the military look if well done and yours is. I agree with Tonyous>> "it's simple and IMHO tastefully done. I think the teeth and the rivets could possibly work but done wrong would take it over the top."

I didn't go military but bought the carbon fiber Phantom II and love it...has the Transitions Lens so don't carry a clear any longer. These are on sale now too. ( No, I don't have any interest in the company.)
Lastly I had a friend who flew B-26 called Heavenly Body out of Van Nuys, CA and your chick on the nose reminds me of the paint job on that plane...always loved that. OK, I'm done. sorry.
