book detailing the experience.? Hi all. My name's Aaron, I'm a 20 year old living in Edmonton, AB. Over the last few months I've been seriously considering joining the Canadian Forces Land Force Command (the Army), most likely as an infantryman. But before I do, I want to know what daily life would be like, deployed and also not deployed. Things like, am I at the barracks 24/7 365, what daily life would consist of when deployed, the things I'll see and do, etc. Just the general experience of serving in the Forces. I'm looking for a book or something along those lines that explains it from the view of a soldier. If anyone knows of one, pass along the name and I'd appreciate it. Or if someone has first hand experience them self and doesn't mind giving me a hint of what my life would be like, that could be even better. Either way, thanks a lot.
