business world- pls help!)? I have my bachelors degree in Human Development. I've worked in sales/marketing for 12 years. Want out of the "rat race" so I've decided to become an RN. I need to keep my student expenses down. Thinking of going to the local community college because they have a 2-yr RN program. Is community college an okay place to go? Is it my best option considering my situation? I would eventually want to get an advanced degree from a more reputable school so I could be a nurse practitioner (or something.. would love your opinion on those options as well). I know there are many paths to becoming an RN, please give me your opinions. Also, I need to make at least 80k per year. Can I do this out of college? I have no problem working a little overtime until my salary goes up. Also, I feel that with my many, many years of management experience in the business world, i would eventually be a great candidate for a nurse manager of some sort. Would love your feedback! thank you!
