Conservatives can you answer this question without beating around the bush?

Churches already provide marriages for gay couples. They provide the spiritual, sacred bonding of homosexual couples already.

Do you want to take away their legal right to do so?
Why do you want to continue preventing the homosexual community from getting LEGAL rights to marry the adult they love? Civil Unions do not provide the same rights as marriage. Do you support "separate but equal" institutions like people did with racism?

Gay marriage should be a state issue rather than a federal issue. The problem I have with marriage is that a lot of people are against it, and on the other hand, a lot of people are for it. Making it a state issue would solve a lot of arguments because if you don't want to live by it you can simply move to another state where it is illegal. Everybody wins, Everybody is happy.
