CONs on Organic food not being safe for the environment?

There is no argument here but my teacher expects us to debate that Organic food is not safer for the environment.

This is impossible to me, I have researched, organic is better and will always be better, especially for the environment.

Can you find any CONs towards organic food? especially within the environment.

Besides it being costly and use of no pesticides, which sometimes kills the elements of nature that damage crops.

I guess you could argue that it's less efficient and therefore more land would have to turned into farms to feed everybody.
