Soooo I understand i'm supposed to connect the red 12 volt wire from the stereo harness to the harness adapter for my car, and the yellow constant power wire from my stereo to the harness too, but when I did that it wouldn't power on on its own.
But when i accidentally connected the two red wires nd yellow wires, it powered on. So I figured i'll keep it like that for now since its working.
For some reason when i splice the wires the right way it won't work, it'll only work when i connect the red and yellows together.
And every time i turn off the car completely, it resets everything i had set before (radio station presets, time, EQ settings, etc.)
I know the yellow wire is the constant wire, so I was thinking of connecting the red wire straight to the battery but it should be able to power through the harness shouldn't it??
