Hi. I have a 6500 officejet.I've setup the fax and It's working fine.I have only one phone line (one number).I've connected a phone to the ext line behind the printer.When the printer Is turned off the phone works.When I turn the printer on , the phone Is dead.I assumed they would both be working at the same time.
Any Ideas ? From what I've read online and In the manual , there shouldn't be a problem.
I'm using a splitter now and they're both working.I'm curious why It wont work connected on the printer though.
