I have a Motorola Q and an updated version of Motorola Phone tools. The computer will recognize the phone and allow me to access it as a removable storage media. But for some reason I cannot get MPT to recognize it, for internet access via phone via MPT, etc. I have no problems with my moto frost, but I have to change the usb setting to use the usb connection as a modem instead of mass storage. Is there some setting in the Moto Q that I need to change, similar to my Frost, cuz I'm not finding anything resembling that option? Or am I possibly setting up the phone wrong in MPT. Since it detects the phone but won't recognize it, I manually configured the internet connection to "Generic CDMA device." I'm lost on what I'm doing wrong or missing. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
