ok i have a question me and my dad are on the same cable network but a friend is on a modem connection now we would like to share files with her .. how woudl we do it ? i have got everyones ip address but now what ?
You should all get a client that allows you to set up a private network.
Then you should all fill in the same network name, and the ip adresses of the people you want to connect to.
