I have a question about a Christian friend. At first he seemed to be real solid in God and in the Word (he even has a christian website that is producing good fruit by helping people with their questions and problems). Now there is good fruit there but after getting to know him deeper, he has told me that God likes to "play with us" with signs. So he interprets almost everything as a sign from God.
He believes his signs and says he has made predictions from them and they have all come true. Could it be a deceiving spirit? He also says he can "tap into" the holy spirit anytime and God explained it to him like this: if you are in a relationship your spouse will let you touch her hand if you want. You can "tap into" Him the same way. Any thoughts? Thanks.
