Confused what should I study ? photography or computer technician.?

Im really confused and frustrated as to what to do with my life.
I have wasted so many years partying drinking and all sorts and now find myself about to turn 40 with only o- level education and stuck in a dead end job as a cleaner having to make ends meet by working 60 hrs a week . If I was to work any less would be peniless after paying bills.

However Im good at repairing and fixing pcs and but have no qualifications to show for it. Invested in an slr and have a bit of knowledge on photography and photoshop, all self thougt.ocaasionally i get somone asking to have their kids picture or family picture taken or their pc fixed .

Due to circumstances I cant go to regular uni at moment but was considering studying photography by doing open university coures and online schools or on the other hand studying for the a+(computer technician course) and network + comptia exam with study material and books I have and sitting exam.

dont know which to do but dont want to be struggling my whole life like this want to improve but cant decide. Tjhank God I found Christ thats beeen my wakeup call , really need some advice .
what are job prospects of photographer. Im I to old and should i focus more on studying for pc exams and keeping photography as a hobby or should I stick to photography

you should go first with computer technician. it's a nice course and very easy to earn money if you finished it.i am also a graduate of computer technician and now taking up Bachelor of arts in Political Science. I can use my knowledge in pc troubleshooting and at the same time i am also earning money as a free lance computer technician.

Photography is good but you can take it after you have finished computer technician course..Good luck and i hope it will help you a little bit.

You can try doing both. Try going to a community college. A lot of them are actually really good and are a heck of a lot cheaper than going to a university (though you will have to transfer to a Uni eventually if you want a Bachelor's degree or higher). I would definitely try going for the Computer Technician first. Jobs in the technology field are hot right now and you'll have a better chance at finding a stable, well-paying job with your certifications as a Computer Tech. While taking classes for that, you can also take a few in photography.

Once you have a job as a Computer Tech, you can work for a photographer on the side or even start up your own little side business. Right now, photography is definitely something you'll want to keep as a hobby. Good cameras are becoming more affordable now and people are taking to documenting their own events themselves.

But yes, Computer Technician first, Photography after.
