I have been friends with this guy for a lil over a year. At first we were just casual work friends who didnt talk outside of work or anything. Then after i quit my job we began texting. After his girlfriend broke up with him like 7 months ago we texted almost everyday. I would give him support, listen to him, tell him everything would be okay. Every time i tried to hang out with him he would bail on me and idk why cuz we would talk for hours alot of the time until like 2 in the morning. I told him about a month ago that I liked him but i didnt want anything to change cuz i know he doesnt like me in that way. He said he was fine with it and we continued to text like normal. Then about two weeks ago i asked him if he wanted to hang out and he genuinely seemed like he wanted to. Im in college now and he was like oh cool i didnt know you were in town. So i finally thought we would get to grab lunch. He was going to text me the next day when he got done working on his buddy's car. He never did...so i texted him asking if we were still on for lunch. He said no, not a good day. I asked if he was okay and he said not right now. I asked if he wanted to talk about it and he said not a good idea. That was the last text he sent me and its been two weeks. He wont respond to my texts at all so i was worried that maybe something happend to him. So i asked our mutual friend to just text him a random question to see if he would respond and he did. I just dont understand we are good friends and we talk about alot of stuff and we text all the time and now he just wont talk to me and idk why. I sent probably too many texts to him even when he wasnt responding and i regret it...im not clingy i was just worried about him and I sent him an email with some job opportunities cuz hes looking for a job and i found a few he might like when i was searching for a job for myself. I was just trying to be helpful, but he has responded to any of that. Does anyone maybe have a clue what is going on? cuz i am lost and confused...and i miss talking to my best guy friend. oh an im a girl lol please help...thanks
