my periods arent always regular as i have pcos now and again they will be every 28 days but some months they will be a week or two weeks late. me and my husband are trying for our third baby after my period has finished it was over a week late this time, the last was 3 days late.
i worked out if i do get pregnant this month by luck that my due date would be 31st may if i had a regular 28 day period but because its been a week late the cycle length changes it to a week into june. how is this worked out and is it accurate?
does the cycle length mean thats the amount of time between each month meaning a longer cycle length is a longer pregnancy? does this make the due date change a lot in the pregnancy or does it always goes by the first date of the period whatever the cycle length was?
just really confused because i was regular when i fell pregnant with my girls so unsure this time and worried it wont happen for a long time as im not even sure if im ovulating. cant go docs as ive just moved house and not signed up to one yet the waiting list is a month they told me.
thanks for any advice.
