confused about birth control

Ok so I've been on ortho tri cyclen for 4 months and my skin has been clearing up 2 weeks before my period, but I'm all broken out for the rest of the time!

I was on Yasmin all of last year and it gave me horrible pms and did nothing for my skin...so I was just wondering if I should change bc pills or just go off them all together and see what happens
 
I would defintely see your doctor first because you may be allergic to that certain type of birth control without even knowing it. You never know. I broke out when I got off of it and when I switched dosages but I did at the same time so that is probably why I broke out but defintely talk to your doctor because there a lot of branRAB out there that may work better for you. If you did not breakout a lot when you weren't on the pill then they may be a better option as well but see your doctor first in my opinion!
 
Birth control is NOT a guarantee to keep you from breaking out. It's not meant to be; it's meant to prevent pregnancy. It may just be that birth control pills won't keep you acne-free the entire month.
